The recipe below serves about 3 people easily, though if you're a big eater, you may finish it off (and have delicious pineapple to spare!) It's a relatively simple recipe, though for the potato seen in this picture, please look to SortedFood.
1 lb ground beef (80/20 or 90/10)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
1 package of applewood bacon
2 tbsp sriracha
8 tbsp tomato ketchup
3 tbsp maple syrup
1/4 cup green onion (optional)
Preheat your oven to 400*F. While it preheats, mix 1/2 tsp of brown sugar into 3 tsbp of maple syrup.
Evenly spread your bacon on a cookie sheet and cook for 5min.
Remove bacon from oven and brush brown sugar and maple syrup on both sides. Continue cooking for 5min.
Remove bacon from oven and let rest.
Mix tsp of salt and tsp of pepper.
Mix half of salt and pepper with ground beef.
(Optional) add 1/8 cup green onion.
4. Mold into patty shape with hands, leave thumb imprint in the middle of patty.
Heat pan to medium-high heat.
Cook patty to preferred standard, sprinkling cheddar cheese on top of it for the last two minutes of cooking time.
Cut and core pineapple into 1cm thick slices.
Heat pan to medium-high heat and cook pineapple on both sides for two minutes.
THE FINAL COUNTDOWN- I mean Meal prep
Mix sriracha and tomato ketchup together.
Cut and rinse off lettuce.
(Optional) Toast bun(s) in same pan as beef patty for 2min.
Place lettuce on bottom bun, followed by pineapple, then beef patty w/cheese, two strips of bacon, and top with spicy ketchup.
